Since its inception in 1993, Peony’s C/B/E has been the standard in the scrap metal industry for gauging prices during negotiations. The report has also been utilized daily for business opportunities. Thousands of transactions have been concluded since its founding in 1993.

The one-page report, published at 9:30 am U.S. EST daily, lists 70 verified buying and selling price quotes alongside delivery basis, company names, buyer/seller’s names, phone numbers and email addresses. Materials are divided into three sections: aluminum, copper/brass and others such as stainless steel, high-temp, electronic scrap, precious metals scrap, ferrous scrap and so forth. Metals listed range from high-grade such as number 1 copper to low-grade such as sealed units.
